One of the many activities offered at Kingdom Reins Ranch & Stables is horseback riding. You can explore the trails atop a beautiful, majestic horse, taking in the incredible sights, sounds, and smells of nature at a leisurely pace.
Meet Your Instructor:
Alajah
Alajah offers one-on-one lessons for ages 8 and up. Lessons are provided for beginner and intermediate riders. Lessons are conducted in the round pen, pasture and graduating to a ride through the trails. Lessons are structured to develop excellent horsemanship, obtain equestrian knowledge, establish progress goals, and provide an extraordinary experience.

Safety is paramount when it comes to horseback riding, especially for beginners. Here are some essential tips to stay safe

Wear Proper Gear:
Always wear a certified horse riding helmet. Make sure it fits snugly and is fastened securely. Additionally, wear proper footwear with a heel to prevent your feet from slipping through the stirrups.
Listen to Your Instructor
Follow the instructions of your instructor carefully. They will guide you on how to handle the horse, use the reins, and give commands effectively.
Maintain Control
Always maintain control of the horse by keeping a light but firm grip on the reins. Practice stopping, starting, and steering the horse in a controlled manner.
Stay Alert and Aware
Be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to the horse's behavior. If the horse seems agitated or nervous, alert your instructor immediately.
